Workshops at the Berkshire Museum

In conjunction with Rethink! American Indian Art at Berkshire Museum, an innovative exhibition of contemporary Native American art as well as historic objects, Berkshire Museum is offering a series of exciting hands-on workshops with participating artists.

Friends of Alchemy Initiative receive a 10 percent discount on workshop tuition. Several great workshops left in the series… call to register NOW!

Our Board President extraordinaire, Jeanette Maguire, signed up for the full series. There she is above with the gorgeous basket she made at the October workshop with contemporary Passamaquoddy artist Jeremy Frey.

Jeanette said the skills she learned at the basket weaving workshop were way beyond what she had anticipated!

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity… learn to make a pair of traditional Southern Plains baby moccasins with artist Teri Greeves or lavishly beaded whimsies with contemporary artist Niio Perkins. And children can participate in a FREE beaded medallion workshop (*free with Museum admission).

Advance registration is required for all Sunday workshops: call 413-443-7171, ext. 10, to reserve or for more information.
